We are not currently allowing comments as we don’t have the staff to moderate them and don’t want to be overrun by spam. All the content is uploaded by VIU students in the Making the News MEDI 302 class and therefore we are not currently looking for other contributors, nor do we pay.

We make every effort to fact-check, edit, and proofread, but if we have made an error, we will endeavour to correct it immediately. We hope all content is properly credited to the writers and photographers who created it or the news organizations that offer context for the stories. We appreciate your patience as we verify this and please trust no ill-intent was ever intended if this is not the case.

We have no ads on the site and are not profiting from traffic or any other means of collecting money, we simply want to share some good news in a world that sorely needs more of it.
